offer Wireless Internet access at all areas (restaurant
/ bar / sitting room / reception / outdoor terracea and
all rooms). Here are answers to some questions you might
have about using wireless at the Bellariva

Q. How can I use wireless Internet at the Hotel
Bellariva?
A. Wireless access uses the WiFi standard (also known as
IEEE 802.11b). Most users can simply bring their
wireless-enabled laptop computer or other wireless
device to the Bellariva and turn it on. The computer
will automatically recognize the wireless network. If
your laptop does not have wireless built-in, you can
install a WiFi-compatible network card. Hotel Bellariva
cannot guarantee your equipment will work with the
Hotel's network.
Q. How does it work?
A. Wireless access points located throughout the hotel,
communicate with your wireless device. You should be
able to connect almost anywhere in the Hotel. When your
wireless network card senses a signal, a message appears
on your screen indicating a wireless network is
available. Open your web browser. A greeting screen
appears (in place of your home page) asking you to abide
by the Hotel's.
Q. Will I need any special settings or passwords to
connect?
A. Yes, pls ask reception for user names AND passwords (required).

Q. Is my information safe while using wireless?
A. Your information is not protected while using
wireless, unless you are connected to a web page that
employs encryption (stores, banks, etc.) Keep this in
mind if you are accessing sensitive business or personal
information.
Q. Are there any restrictions on my use of the
Internet?
A. Wireless users agree to abide by the Hotel's which
prohibits abusive or illegal activity while using the
Bellariva’s Internet service. Wireless security
equipment protects the Hotel's internal network. This
equipment also meters download speeds to ensure quality
service to all users.
Q. Can I print while using wireless?
A. Printing is not available. If you need to print,
please save your work to disk or e-mail files to
yourself.
Q. Can the Hotel help me configure my computer?
A. Sorry, everyone's computer is different and you are
responsible for knowing how to configure your own
equipment. The Hotel cannot be responsible for any
changes you make to your computer's settings. If you
need additional assistance, you may need to contact the
hardware or software manufacturer.

and/or intermittently. Systems outages of this nature
are beyond our control. We are not responsible for
temporary or sudden lost of access to the Internet, loss
of data or data corruption due to connection to our
gateway. No warranties are implied.
Cancellation/Refunds
No cancellations or refunds are allowed after you have
purchased time from us. No credit will be issued for any
unused connection time to the Internet unless we
experience total system outages on our end. |
